Who We Are

It is my privilege to share the work of Caritas Foundation International with you.

“Caritas” is a small word that describes God’s great love manifested in the human care and compassion we show for others.

In that spirit, Caritas Foundation International provides a platform for fostering “caritas” with approaches that develop hearts for love and charity that are cultivated through Caritas Projects with the intent of extending caritas into everyday life!  

We do this by bringing together adults to mentor at-risk youth to help childen and families with special needs.

While our vision is great, we have developed an action plan for 2013 that includes immediately obtainable goals of;

~Reaching at-risk youth and showing them the value in serving others

~Mentoring youth ministers in financially limited parishes who lack sufficient ministry training

~Networking young professionals with successful, mature professionals in similar careers

~Serving children with special needs by teaching at-risk teens to assist with equestrian therapy

~Helping families in financial, physical, and or spiritual need through works of mercy projects   

We know that by cultivating a heart for love and charity in youth and adults, we will positively impact families, communities and one day, countries!
